Below are selected ministry excerpts related to 1 and 2 Samuel. The subject of 1 & 2 Samuel is "The Illustrations of the Way to Enjoy the God-given Good Land". God's Economy Needing Man's Cooperation
The central thought of 1 and 2 Samuel is that the fulfillment of God's economy needs man's cooperation...Such a cooperation is related to the personal enjoyment of the good land, which typifies the all-inclusive and all-extensive Christ.
Christ within Us Being the One Who Bears the Cross
The New Testament speaks of bearing the cross, but who is able to do this? Philippians 3:10 indicates that the strength for us to bear the cross is the power of Christ's resurrection. We have One who is not only resurrection power-we have One who Himself is the resurrection (John 11:25).
Taking Care of God's Habitation
The matter of God's dwelling place on earth is worthy of much consideration on our part. We need to realize that whatever God does for us and whatever He gives to us should be altogether for our concern for the building up of God's dwelling place on earth.
